Added friends but they won't show up on Kim K app

I accepted a friend request (my first lol) and GC shows I have added them but when I log into the app and look on my friend list, I don't have them listed!! What's up with that?

    Make sure you are signed in on GC in-game. There's a button on the friend list. :)

    ^My ID shows up and when I log into the app :)
    it greets me lol, I only have a sign in button for FB, so I think I'm logged in...although it says 'log into GC or FB to add friends etc.'. Am I missing something? o_O
