Kim k game crashing?

Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me? It gets to the glu logo and just crashes.. I'm playing from iPad mini btw, and I have an appearance that I need to finish in about 4 hrs and I don't even have 2 stars because I started it then I waited for the energy to fill up.. I don't want to get 1 star and lose fans please is anyone else experiencing this?:confused:
