I got that banner, too. It's just a lure. There isn't a special gift, unless you grind for it, or spend k stars to open gift boxes. On a different note: Merry Christmas, Sassy and Isabeau!!!

I think it refers to the K Cash and K Stars gift from Kim. Most of us have probably already collected that long before the notification popup was shown.
