Advice for a Cash poor New Player?

I’m a newbie on level 26 ranked A list at #6 with 180.6 million followers. I started playing about two weeks ago so I’m poor, and never have enough cash to buy things. The first items I purchased was a vehicle and a private jet so I could gain energy from tappables to complete tasks. The businesses I own currently are:
1. The LA Gym; not fully upgraded
2. So Chic LA
3. Brooklyn Hair Salon; Fully upgraded
4. Chevier Paris; not fully upgraded
5. St. Moritz Ski Lodge; purchased all furnishings but is rated average in everything but customer service
6. Monaco Casino; not fully furnished yet
7. Prague Bar; fully upgraded
8. Reykjavik Ice Club; not fully furnished
9. Chevier Toronto; fully upgraded
10. Papagayo Hotel; fully upgraded
11. Perfumery; fully upgraded
My strategy so far has been to purchase and fully upgrade businesses in hopes I would eventually have enough cash to purchase homes and clothes. However, I spend hours and hours doing nothing but tapping on tappables, and I’m always constantly broke despite my businesses. I basically only spend my cash on buying and upgrading businesses. But, it takes an eternity to save up the cash needed for the businesses. The pets I own are the kitten, goldfish, boxer, Italian greyhound, and pug. I currently only have 5 tasks to complete. I’m starting to wonder if it would be a better strategy to stop focusing on businesses, and focus on acquiring pets instead so I spend less time obtaining energy through tappables. I want to know how I can not constantly be broke because I spend the entire game doing nothing but tapping tappables.

You have the Jet and a vehicle so you aren't paying for travel, so that helps. Here is one small tip, others will have more suggestions.

Empty all your extra energy at night into a 12 hour gig at Kardash SoHo. Instead of wasting it, it adds up, and you dont lose fans or anything if you don’t finish that shift. It’s like emptying change at night out of your pants into a change jar. But it’s found money.
    It's only 480$ but that's up to 15K a month :)

I'm moving this to the General Discussion Section, we have a lot of players here with a wealth of information and tips to share. You have free transportation, I would just work work work work, and work some more.

You told me you are not getting the bonus star for dates, not enough heart points,
are you getting the bonus for gigs?
    And Welcome to the forum.

One thing to remember about businesses - they cost a lot and it takes awhile to get a return on them. So maybe pause with that and focus on the ones you have. Set up a schedule so you know when those gigs are available. For me, Chevier Paris is really profitable once it's fully upgraded. I don't own all the businesses to be able to compare for sure, but out of the ones I DO own, it pays the most both in kash and k-stars.

You say you already have the jet so that's good. You really only need 2 vehicles - one for the Cali set of locations and one for the NY set. That will ensure you never have to pay for transportation.

Are you caught up on storylines? Storyline gigs usually give you extra kash when you complete them. Do that until you're down to Simon gigs and the only thing you've got going are weekend gigs. Then you'll know you're caught up on storylines.

Tappables give you very little kash so don't be surprised that nothing comes out of that. I find filming reality shows helps bring my kash flow up a bit, because you get kash not only for each guest you invite but also for finishing the show. Stick to 3 hours in either Calabasas or Bel Air. I think there may be another location where you can invite the same # of guests but I don't have it so someone else will have to answer on that. But in terms of energy use, reality shows use up so much less than gigs or parties or anything else. If you're in Bel Air, you can finish using only 18 energy bolts. So I can squeeze in two shows for the same energy that it takes to do a 3 hour Simon gig. Two shows = twice the kash!

yooo this is my jam on a golden toast i'm also poor! (but a broke h** gotta earn dem coins lmao so i know my ways)
sit tight bc i'll drop some knowledge like i'm from mensa.

so here's the deal: the current version of the game is suited for players who have been in this (glam) void of a game for years now.
your current strategy is okay, but only when you've already been up to date with the storyline and up in the celebrity list (at least A-list). so you gotta like, play according to your current means.

in order for you to start making cash (and earning extra energy bolts), you gotta have two goals:
1.- climb up the celebrity list. you want to be a-list because that's when you start getting the most cash and amount of fans. do the storyline and event gigs in order to achieve that. if you want to climb it up fast, do parties in houses that allow up to 7 guests.
2.- climb up the reality show list.

for these two goals you need one of the big houses, like calabasas. you don't need to furnish them fully because that doesn't affect the amount of cash you'll get, but you do need them for guests. guests give you cash the more you invite them to do gigs. this is particularly useful for reality shows because you upgrade your relationships fast, which gives you cash, energy AND kstars.

now, my gameplay is divided into three strategies, depending on what i want. since you want to know how to earn cash here's what i do:
on top of doing the two goals i mentioned earlier, i also invested in three businesses: the papagayo hotel, the so chic store in the hamptons, and the so chic store in downtown l.a.
some of these, as far as i remember, can only be bought via storyline, so you have to grind to be up to date with it.

i chose the so chic hamptons store to give me cash (they give you the option to choose if you wanna get fans or cash. since i'm broke i chose cash). it gives you 1000 cash every week. the so chic store in downtown l.a. also gives you 1000 cash every week. there's so chic online (which i think is achieved via storyline i honestly don't remember), which also gives you cash weekly. none of the so chic stores require you to do gigs if you don't wanna lose the money, and they don't require you to fully furnish them either. also, for the longest time, i did not date anybody in the game, except for events. and when the event was done, i'd remove them from my contact list.

i also invested in a car because obviously it means free transportation and i'm all about that.

finally, 50% of your time in the game will be tapping on things. it is how it is so you gotta resign yourself to do that all the time.

so stop focusing on the businesses, do the gigs, and do reality shows.
