I was surprised the GB boots I won in look 2 here didn't score better, but in retrospect I definitely could have styled them better. I was lucky enough to win the TB blue asymmetrical dress a couple weeks ago and everyone posting here has inspired me! I think i'll use it for one of my last couple looks

So i just re-submited my 2 best looks on this SYS and they floped soo hard this time :O The first time i submited them one got 42 and the other got 48! When i re-submited them today they got 28 and 32 votes..... Im currently in 3rd place and the girl in 4th only has like 4 less points than i do! Pray for me to stay on Top5

Hey everyone. I really need some help making a decision. There’s a girl who bought tickets in my group. By my calculations she bought 6. But she’s been using plain looks and I’ve been able to close the gap. Right now she is 150 votes ahead of me, so I’m thinking if I buy 6 tickets and use 3 the hair is mine.
Is it worth it though?! I need some feedback or encouragement on whether to chase this. I’ve never came in second on a SYS and I like that hair..
no one can tell you what to do but the tickets don't expire after this event and you never know when you could use a few if you really like the hair I use a couple of tickets but that's just me and a lot of other people. I wish you very good luck let us know how it works out.

I'm sorry but can we please stop discussing about racism and colorism of this sys event voting system? I came here to share and post about my doll's fashion, not to read about how prejudice the voters are truly are. I honestly thought that this issue wasn't gonna be brought up again. As a WOC and being a black woman irl, I've seen enough of that in the society's real world. And its also very heartfelt to me. It's more than a rather touchy-feely sensitive topic that I just can't seem to make any changes from that. And yes I do agree to an extent that certain makeup looks doesn't look good on dark-skinned dolls and glu tends to cater to caucasian dolls. Glu is honestly the worst "makeup" artist and cant do good job on dark-skinned dolls. I feel like the makeup choices on this game is very "limited" on my doll too. It's kinda like I gotta know what colors of eyeshadows and lipsticks looks good on my doll because clearly glu dont know lol. Glu, if yall did my makeup irl I dont think that I would like it so I would end up firing yall as my makeup artist lol. And I'm gonna say it again that I strongly stand against my ground that I'm not gonna change my doll's skin color to please these voters on my game. Uh just to "cheat" as a white doll and to score "higher"? I dont think so. It won't be happening anytime soon.
I actually use dark skinned dolls more during SYS because I love the way they look! And I don’t see my votes suffering! ❤️

I'm currently #1 with 1319 votes, #2 has 1244 votes, but I think she still has to submit her last look. So if she buys one ticket, she will have more votes than me. I'm gonna have to watch her closely, because that hair is mine lol #3 is a bit worrying too, because she wasn't even in the top 5 and suddenly today she has over 1100 votes? But maybe she just wanted to get the earnable outfit.
Anyway, I'm glad the event is almost over and it's not even because of the theme or my trendsetters group, but because its so damn long. I think it should start on Sundays and then end on Thursdays, before the next weekend event. There's really no need for such long SYS events.

And I'm not abouts spend more money on this game to purchase extra tickets just so that I cant outbeat this basic bish on my game who's first place. @judi If it’s ur typical basic girl move her out of 1st 😂😂 But if it’s a ticket buyer from the start, that never gave people a chance bc they claimed so hard already n over do it the entire sys. They annoy me, so beat them lol. But imo when a doll scored good without tickets I’ll think twice. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ll be nice to those dolls ❤️.
I'm like a snake, I've gotten close to my prey but it's not time yet. I'm laying in wait until the time is just right. Maybe they'll move away, maybe they won't and I'll strike when they least expect it. I feel bad for them, they look nice, but it's a circle of life.
