No comeback story?

Hi,
So I've decided to do a comeback and become E++, but there was no comeback story. I chose the Fashion Icon comeback this time and lost all my fans, but I didnt get the new story and the rest of the Top Stars ranking remained the same at over 500,000 fans (although last time I did it it reset and the numbers were well below 200,000). Is this a glitch or does the second comeback not have a reset or a new story?
