i broke down and opened more holiday boxes looking for the stuff that i didn't want to pass up... i ended up opening all but 3... lol again.. good thing i bought that last star pack on black friday.. lol i hope i can get some good items in my daily boxes before the month is over.. i've opened the free one, the video free one, and the 15 star one yesterday and today and only got dyes and energy! lol aye aye aye...

From the Glu's perspective, weirdly i think yes they intend to be around for another year. I don't know if player satisfaction will allow for that though.
I know i'm gonna get disagrees galore because lots of people love the update, but i dont think this was an impressive update. To me, it's looks like a big update but it's not as much as it seems. Or rather, lots of good features have a 'but'
- the bulk of the 'new' kloset items are just old unreleased things or old altered hair but still at a high kstar price (especially when you compare to the great prices and variety in kloset last update)
- special holiday boxes BUT they're 10 kstars more expensive than before AND they contain things that were specifically begged for to be the TB sale. AND they contain the spread the joy items which i previously paid $27 to get the dress i wanted yet they wont release the the trial SYS items people may have paid for or won for free.
- No gifting, even though it was highly requested and profitable
-Nothing in the pop up shop??????
-Highly requested storage! BUT i have to pay 40 kstars to get it
-A fun christmas light aura BUT it is bound to the 55 kstar boxes AND it is based on artwork they didn't even bother to credit
-New dye but we get none of it.
-No explanation of how we're ever going to get other dyes like orange. Or how we'd get opal after this month. Where's the planning?
I'll admit i was already unimpressed from how disappointing BF was and how the hair colours/TB selection were handled. That plus the kstar spending punishment, i'd decided not to play after new year.
short answer:
Saying that, i think they'll continue the game but with the lower detail clothes/ recolours/ revamps of previous items as of late because its lower cost for decent profit.
And, if they were going to abandon the game soon, they just had the perfect chance to encourage people to spend as much as possible during BF, but they didn't. They could've had a massive TB sale and even i would've bought star packs. But they seem to want people to wait and play longer to get the items with diamonds or in these special boxes.
@Maree_kkh YESSSS to everything you said. Except the mediocre Black Friday sale was calculated. They did that intentionally because it’s more profitable for them if players have to buy diamonds to get those throwback items.
i was going to wait for VIP to get the kloset, but i don't think i can wait! i think i have enough other stuff on my list for VIP to make the 500 anyways... hair colors and finishing the holiday boxes and whatever gift boxes we have... i'm sure they are going to be FAB!!! time to organize!!
Nice job Glu on the new holiday box items! There’s so much detail in them. I especially love the snow globe and ornament purse with animation. As for my free pick, not so good. I got the short hair but I probably won’t ever use it. On the second pick I ended up getting the lips and the last pick was the dress. I’ll likely take a few more spins before its all over.
Can someone DM with the Sis Thanos art thing? I missed the drama. I only saw her initial post as a single emoji “🙃”. I am not here often, but I realised that Sis Thanos is super creative (and funny). I remembered her drawing of Cinderella’s dress (change from ragged clothes to a ball gown) and she also suggested an improvement to a funny hair in the collection. It makes it look better. Sis Thanos, you are doing awesome sweetie.
