@therealChar I completely understand you and I think it's very important to express positive and negative feedback. I just wanted to throw in a little reminder that Kalinda is not at fault, but I'm sure the majority of the users here knows that already.
Perhaps I’m mistaken, and feel free to correct me if i am, but listening to what we have to say is Kalinda’s job. She then conveys our feedback to Glu and she lets us know how Glu responds. No one is being mean to Kalinda when we express how infuriated we are that Glu proceeded with a SYS that had a major glitch on day 1. No one is being mean to Kalinda when we insist it is unfair that some players got extra free tickets. No one is being mean to Kalinda when we question whether or not it’s even legal to proceed with a contest after *some* players were given a free advantage. No one is being mean to Kalinda when we are outraged to realize that, contrary to how SYS has run for over a year, looks that were submitted in the final 30 minutes of the event did not earn votes. No one is being mean to Kalinda when we, as a community, say that telling us “oops, here’s 10 Kstars” is NOT an adequate response from Glu. I’ve told Kalinda directly that I wouldn’t want her job and I’ve expressed that on the Forum too. But the reality is that listening to us is her job.
I would have gotten 1st this SYS personally, if my last ticket (that I submitted more than 10 minutes in advance) would have made it to the booth. So it's super frustrating to see that they're rectifying this issue for some people and not others. I'm happy for the person who received their rightful prize, it's not their fault. And I don't blame Kalinda either (she's just somewhat synonymous with Glu on the forum, so I think sometimes frustrated posts come off as attacks on her when they aren't meant to be at all).
Countless people would have gotten higher prizes if their last looks had gone to the booth. Almost every single person that's upset posted their look more than 10 minutes in advance. So while I appreciate that this is finally being addressed in some way, that does not at all cover the extent of the issues we had. We're posting on the forum for help, as was asked of us. So can the prizes just be awarded to everyone, so that the unfairness of this SYS can be somewhat rectified? No one wants to go into next SYS thinking about how many of us didn't get prizes that we earned, because looks posted more than the recommended amount of time in advance didn't make it to the booth. @KalindaKing
Kalinda has gone to bat for us time and time again . Do not forget who fixed the wine. Just one of countless things, but one that resonates most with Veteran players . It's human nature to cry out against the nearest representative. But seriously, its never productive to lash out at the one you want to help you. If she could, Kalinda would fix every problem personally. Shes more than some ranfom Glu Rep. Try substituting 'Glu' for Our moderators names if you arr pisting negatively. After all it is Glu. Maybe just that little change will help lift some of angst.

I agree with @SisSnappedLikeThanos and @HollySisk ! I hope this can be resolved for all of us. And that it hopefully doesnt happen with this weeks sys. As i said im gonna keep track of the wait times on android. Just incase if i need to warn anyone about votes taking longer then usual.

Unless I'm missing something.. didn't the posts we're talking about simply tag a moderator? And unless this is just something I'm unaware of, we can't tag Glu to get a response. I don't think people tag Kalinda to place blame on her, but it's often the only way to try to get a response about an issue brought on by Glu. I also don't think anyone needs to be posting negative things about the moderators & I definitely don't envy their job (as others have also said), but if we can't tag them when we have a problem with the game.. how exactly are we suppose to have issues addressed on here?

My statement was literally nothing more than a quick shoutout to Kalinda who is always a big support for us. Seriously, do we all have to message support individually for a widespread issue that was Glu’s fault? I’m still waiting to see whether I should bother with this game anymore. The Kimiversary talk just reminded me how unbelievably disappointing Black Friday was as well, so I’m not gonna be suckered into playing just for that. If you’d have to refund people for giving out the TS prizes, give us the diamonds or kstars to get something else.

Yeah, I am not dropping this either. At the minimum, I want the earnable I’m owed because Glu didn’t send my looks to the voting booth. They were never marked as finished, which would have been the case if they really got zero votes. Getting compensation for TS is a whole other mess because you can’t determine who got extra free tickets or not and if other players also missed out on some looks. But the earnables are not exclusive, there’s no reason to not give them to the people who should have gotten them. I’ve said it before, up to 2 looks were not submitted so remove them from the total point count based on the average needed: 42 points per look, so 84 total, meaning that if you’re over 491 and your looks did not get votes as they should have, you should still get the last earnable. Glu has reduced the total amount of points before, so it is possible. I get that the submissions not going to the voting booth on time is not a deliberate choice but you can’t change how things work without warning and not do anything to make up for it. Seriously, Glu, you messed up, it was not voluntary, it happens: just own up to it, give the compensation needed and everyone will be able to move on and stop trashing you. I'm sorry that many of you had issues in the Show Your Style: Femme Fatale event. We are trying to get our servers ready for Show Your Style to reduce the number of connection issues. As I mentioned, when we tried to resolve the issue where some players lost tickets, it led to new issues in the last event. The next event should operate more smoothly; however, if you have issues in your game, please post on the forum or contact Glu Support for help. As for your last looks, the sooner you can submit them, the better. I recommend submitting your last look at least 10 minutes before it ends. We'll continue to monitor the event and do our best to reduce the number of glitches in Show Your Style.
Am I the only one who finds this "apology" lacking any real value or substance? It's completely ignored specifically what happened and is just trying to gloss over the problems. @KalindaKing have you seriously not read this thread? Countless people had problems! They contacted in game support! They tagged yourself and @eggsandbananas in posts! All we got was deafening silence, Glu did nothing. People DID submit looks with more than 10 minutes left, some over an hour before the end of SYS and they didn't get their votes. I'm gonna just assume this is garbage Glu made you post because honestly it makes it look like either you are stupid, or you think the players are. Such a tone deaf and empty response.
The only real acknowledgement in this apology is that there will still be glitches in the upcoming SYS. They don't even know if its fixed. Nearly a whole week and Glu couldn't sort this problem out.

But then again, ever since the #playtogetherapart my looks are flopping, voters don't vote for on theme looks and then this..

If I remember correctly, when this banner came out, everyone was crazy about this heart handheld that we never got. If Glu wanted to show us that they are listening, I bet this handheld, or something like it, would go a long way.
They probably wouldn't even have to spend that much time in development since it's already been created before! And they wouldn't be losing money since there isn't a way to buy it in the game. It would be a very nice gesture to show that Glu does still care about us and is sorry for the absolute mess that was the last SYS.

Yes ! I emailed them screen shots of the final look that wasnt counted and the Ts board and my ID for the game
