Update stuck on 10.9 version since April 2020

One day my kindle fire rebooted itself. My Kim K game hasn't been updating since version10.9 so I've missed out on countless events, stars and cash. Can someone advise me on how to fix it? I don't want to lose the game I've spent time and money on for the last 3  years

I'm not familiar with Kindle Fie, but is there not an app store where you can manually update an app? Or is it that the later updates aren't available for your platform?
