It’s baffling the scheduling....I mean I know it’s not thanksgiving in Canada but I’d venture to guess most players were hoping for something related to it or at least autumn and not thrifty chic.
Agreed, I would have loved an opportunity to use some of the coats and sweaters/sweater dresses that don't fit the more formal themes. I only came back right before the royally botched sys change so not sure what themes have been done, but like "cozy autumn" or "festive for fall" or something would have been great.
If there's anything in the sale that fits the theme that I'd buy anyway, I'll probably have to get it. But I'm only spending on stuff I actually really like.
Feels like they’re giving us a theme we have nothing for so we’ll have to use our stars before BF. 😗 Hoping for a free flower crown/handheld flower or something.

iOS player...used to play when the game first came out!! Flash forward about five different dolls and here we are. Playing this doll since January 2020, and doubt I’ll be changing again! (Unless I quit because sys is a joke and I’m really starting to loose the fun in this game ✌🏼❌)

These are extremely low quality prizes for such a hugely anticipated weekend. Mostly kloset level items. With this background Glu could have used the opportunity to do a cozy fall themed event or holiday dinner even. I will be participating only enough to level down again just like I did with the last event.

Also, what does shabby chic have to do with Thanksgiving and autumn/winter? That's a theme more fitting for spring.
