Android can't play since update

Since the anniversary update, when I open the game I get Simon's call, when I try to accept his gift it suddenly says I have no internet connection. My internet was connected and at a very high speed, I restarted my device and my wifi and even tried using my phone data and nothing worked.how do I fix this? @KalindaKing
