Facebook friends in top stars

So I have a question. I have facebook friends that are much higher level than me and have so many more fans and it says that they are at the top. Does this mean that I have to delete them on Facebook in order to ever become #1 on the list?

If you want to get to the number 1 spot faster, then yes. You can add everyone else again if you want.

If you delete them from the contacts in your game, you cannot get them back. So you have to delete them on FB, and wait for them to drop off in the game.
