Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Been playing for a few weeks now and just ran into my first situation with a player who essentially tried to trick me into pink slipping my car and ended up taking my money. I already knew that something was fishy, but I only had $9k so I thought I'd see if I can call him out on it. The player basically told me that he was going to stop playing and he said he'd give me his car by racing pinks. After I declined, I wanted to test if he was really going to stop playing so I said I'd take his money off of him. Raced him and he beat me for the $9k. I know he technically won the money legitimately, but the way he went about trying to trick me to get the money was very unnecessary and is very dirty of him.
I know that I'm not the only one that runs into people like this, so I decided to make this an unofficial list of players to blacklist for dirty practices. I ask that other people in the forum join in on helping me expand this list. I'm not 100% sure how to run this, so for now I'm going to say that you will need to show me proof of their dirty practices (get proof by screenshotting messages as well as the resulting race for things like this). My hope is that this is help to curb the number of players that do this as time goes by.
