Stuck on the task of talking to luther

I am having an issue with the task of talking to Luther as So Chic. This gals came out with the task of collecting profits from the store. I am currently on level 14. I have talked to Luther every which way and I can't get the game to acknowledge it! So frustrating. I've tried working, talking about topics, closing the game, etc. nada. Any suggestions?? Thank you!!!

    Are you trying to buy so chic or collect the profit ?

    You have to pay your landlord the rent you owe him first. Then return to Downtown LA, Willow will be there and you'll have a short dialogue with her. Then you'll go to So Chic & the owner will be there for you to speak to.
