can't compete "start appearance at Brew Palms" quest

I have a pending quest to "Start appearance at Brew Palms Hollywood" but when I go to the location and enter, there is no quest to complete and it's not falling off my quest list. Can someone please help me!! Thanks!

Make sure you are clicking the second option when entering Brew Palm. Has Simon called to say it is ready?

It must have been a glitch bc this morning it was gone. I had completed it once but it wasn't falling off my list so I thought maybe there was something else I needed to do :-) Thank you though
