Cant pass mission, Luther wont talk to me!

For some reason my mission says to go to so chic and talk to Luther, I did, but it wouldn't move on, so I tried working a 1 hour shift, 4 hour shift, asking for help on dating, career, etc. Nothing is working. I'm stuck on the mission and wondering if I'm alone.

    Please help!!!!! Speak to Luther task doesn't work. I'm so frustrated I cannot get any further on the game every time I try to talk to him he asks about working - I have done the 1 and 4 hour shifts a million times and asked him every other option about projects, dating etc. How can I fix this?
