Achievements won't level up

I have 2 different achievements on the game ("day job" and "the look") that say they are at 100%, but will not level up. I've tried many times to do the activities that correspond to these goals, like working in Kardash and So Chic, but nothing ever happens! Any ideas how to fix it?
