No stars or hearts

I've purchased items with hearts and stars and before a event their not their at all also I always speak and earn stars also but their not their. Also I'm married and I can't access the house in calabasas

    Buying heart and star-items helps with getting the bonus star/heart before starting an event. But other than that, you won't see them being added to your event progress. Just to make sure, by earning stars, do you mean K stars or the stars you get from doing a task during an event? And in order to access the house in Calabasas, you need to date an A-lister. He/she will eventually give you the keys to the house once you reach a certain point in your relationship.
