Billboard mess

Ok so I'm doing the story missions where the billboard gets messed up and losing fans like crazy. These type of missions where you are forced to lose fans through no fault of your own really get my goat. There should be an option to just do ok and not lose fans! What's with giving us 2 options that are bad or terrible?

I've got 2 characters on 2 devices so I often chose the opposite response when givien a choice in game. I've lost a million fans just today in the lay low option. Give me a break!
