Oh god, Vats, this was really awful! I'm so sorry! No more jokes.
I was held up once in Boston, but I was helping somebody who'd had too much to drink get back to their car. My friend was actually staggering and leaning on me, and I was so overwhelmed that I handed the mugger the bag I'd been carrying, which had leftover spicy calamari from our dinner. I think we looked weird and smelled weird, so we confused the guy and he just took off without getting anything from us, either. It was years ago, but it still makes my palms sweat thinking of it.
I hope somebody can give you a hug!
Edit: the calamari was a total loss, though.
Second edit: I drove the car! I'm not a monster. I was so shaken that I did a crummy job of driving, though.
First off, OMG Vats. I am sending you a big aft hug. I'm so sorry this has happened. You are so much braver than me. If this is the 2nd time, then I request a hundred years till the next time.
And I'm soooooo so sure we're having an event. Maybe they want to make it like Christmas morning. You know, we all go to sleep tonight, with visions of an awesome Weekend event. And then , we get up, and Boooooom! Event to rival the best one ever.
Ok, and those are my thoughts. (I actually did you all a favor, because now that I've put down that I think there's nothing till tomorrow, just to prove me wrong fate wtill stick her fat little finger in my face, release the teaser and laugh at me. )

Maybe they are taking our lamentations over the last two weekend events into consideration and making last-minute tweaks to please us, ha-ha. I laugh because at least on iOS, it takes about 10 days for Apple to approve updates, so whatever they've planned for iDevice users is already in the works.

No teaser yet? I went for a run to eliminate the fat that I got in this thread and I was robbed! The thief wanted my phone and my wallet, but I didn't take anything with me! It would be a sad weekend if he had taken my phone ... NO weekend event for me!

Anyways, I already saw that contest notice two weeks ago, thought it was a glitch or sth so I didn't mention it here, but yeah, it was from last 2 weeks already. After I took its pic, it disappeared and I couldn't find it again.
I think they also posted it on their official FB.
I can't join this contest anyways,lol.
