I divorced one of my husbands (I've had two or three - I'm terrible, I know!) because he was at #98 and I was #10, and I found someone who was in the top 50. I bumped into him in the Hamptons one day and he was at #43! What?! I didn't even know they could do that!

I thought NPC spouses never move up in rank? Is Glu doing something new?
It was totally different for me when I was married a few months back to an NPC. He actually ranked up so much he was in the Top 10 on my rankings for a little while from being in the 90's when I met him.
