Quests missing after "Comeback"

I just recently started a comeback once I reached #1. Now I'm a B+ celeb and the only quests I've been getting are the basic ones that Simon calls about. The only way I've been able to gain fans except for those is by throwing parties. Has anyone else had this issue?
