  You can, but it's not the most stable way to do it. The friends I have on GC with two games under the same name disappear in and out of my friends list all the time and are re-added at the bottom of the list as if they were a new friend all the time. Whatever you decide, but you can start a second ID on a second device

  I think, as long as the Game Center IDs and itunes are different you're better off. But, I made sure to have absolutely everything different for my 3 games, true only one is Apple, but as Lucy said, a 2nd ID is better for the 2nd Device.
