Ok I had the recent update and when I opened the game loads of things started completing (the different rank things you collect for different tasks etc). I started getting money, energy and stars but as my energy was full I lost everything please help?

    When you say you lost everything, you mean you couldn't pick up the extra energy because you were full? That happened to just about all of us. You did get the Stars, and the XP, and anything else, except your energy could not go higher than your max. I did this twice before I got smart and didn't take the update till I had no energy. But believe me, you got everything else. Do you know what your starts were before you updated?
    If you are having trouble DO NOT UNINSTALL THE GAME!
