No new quests

Hi, I'm relatively new to the forum so apologies if this should be posted elsewhere...
I'm at level 36 and have completed all 3 comebacks so the only new quests I get are the weekend events and then of course the quests which come with each update. The last quest I was given came with the newest baby update last week and it was the 'Tokyo Cooking Show' with Kris. I've just completed this, Kris called me afterwards to say thanks etc but that was it and I have nothing else new to do.
I'd just like to check if this is the same with anyone else or am I missing something? Surely that can't be it until the next update? It seems like such a short storyline since the update was only released last week.
I've checked in Simon and Maria's offices and they don't have the yellow speech bubbles, only the usual white bubble from Maria asking if I'd like to change my name. (I know tasks can sometimes 'go missing' and it's best to check at their offices).
Hope someone can help!

Today I received this message;
"Thanks for sending me that info. We found that you (and some other players) have some v3.3.0 quests blocked because the game is not setting some variables correctly. However, I'm happy to report that with your help we were able to find the problem's source.
With the release of this weekend's event we'll release a fix so you and others will become unblocked and will resume story quests from the v3.3.0 update (as well as everything we have planned for this weekend).
You don't need to do anything else. Just hang on until later today and you should start getting v3.3.0 quests again."
I'm unsure if this info has already been posted elsewhere. Perhaps a lot of other members have already been in contact with Kkh staff about this issue and you already know? Just in case you don't, I thought I'd post this so that everyone is aware of the fix.

It did the same exact thing for me. So I closed out of it cause I was irritated it added 3 quests I had finished previously then when I opened the game again, Maria called with a new gig involving her grandma that I've never had before. So maybe close out and reopen?

Haha at least I've got something to do now but omg! Lol I'm not going near those gigs until Monday and I'll definitely just concentrate on the weekend event for now. How weird, I hope they fix this.

I also got the gig with Maria's grandma but I'm still confused about the past gigs? Like I really don't want to redo them.

I play on an iPhone and it was an automatic fix, but I have it set so all updates are automatic. They just referenced 'all players' in the message they sent me so I thought the fix would happen the same for everyone, including android.

As far as I remember, gigs like the Infinitium watches and sleepless Kim, all involve Perez Hilton. Apparently he's replaced by a random NPC guy now.
