Just keep dating. I've never sent gifts to advance the relationship, maybe someone else has. But for my 6 marriages each time it was just dating. Not to be discouraging, but you should know some people have gotten all the way up to 12,000 points and gotten the proposal and the baby all in one date. But that's rare.
