No, you have to keep your baby. ANd the only friends/boyfriends you can delete are the NPCs. You cannot delete real life contacts from within the game. You need to try and remove them from your Game Center/Google+/ Game Circle/ Facebook connections and then wait, and hope they are removed.
But, once you have a baby, you can't relinquish. Nothing is returnable. Not Clothes, homes, cars, furniture, babies, etc. When it's yours, it's yours. Hope this helps.
