I think the lips are odd. The bottom lip is glossy and defined but the top lip isn't glossy and the lip line isn't defined. It's a bit strange.

Opened one more box because I was feeling lucky - got the lips! Which was very lucky indeed, because all the other boxes had either cash, energy or 30 event points.
I have enough k-stars for one more box, which I will open later on when I'm feeling lucky again!

Yeah that's what I thought! But I saw someone posting an actual screenshot of a new year event with the Ombre hair... Maybe a glitch or? I think it's between pages 1-15.

I'm with you. I did a double-take--prob 4 times!--I'd prefer not to receive either of them, tho I have to agree about the black shadow. The only other thing with the eyes is, brows like that are off trend now, just on the way out, so that's another no thanks. Altogether not horrible, but I prob wouldn't ever use them. The lips, yeah, something off about them, but now that I see them out of a box and on your doll, they actually aren't that bad. I always like seeing how you styled Dixie, she is beyond on point.
Edit: On second thought, the eyes and lips look that good on Dixie, maybe I would in fact use them. Ta-da!

Mostly what I dislike about the lips is that they look like they kind of have buck teeth.

Got the lips in my free box! Ali is now sporting the beauty mark. Opened two more boxes and got 40 stars plus 30 event points. Glad for the points this time since I don't want to spend Christmas grinding!
Ha! I actually have my own Cindy Crawford beauty mark just in the same place she does. So I don't mind if I don't get the lips/mark combo--I can just look in the mirror. But I'm really glad you're happy with what you've gotten. Event points in boxes = 👌🏻

I bet we need to spend those k-stars charming people during this event if we want a good 'pay-off' of event points at the end of the event. Disgusting and unfair practice by Glu, a transparent attempt to get us to waste our hard earned k-stars so we buy more. I refuse to do it. If I have to grind even harder than normal in order to make up for those lost event points, so be it. I am NOT wasting k-stars when the game is becoming more and more stringy in giving them out. Last Christmas we got 10 or 15 k-stars I think. This year? Five. It wouldn't hurt them to give us the same amount as last year, would it? Whatever Glu.

I am kind of annoyed at myself I got the lips in my free box, decided to open another as I wanted the dress and I got the shoes, then 30 event points good boxes and I should have stopped there, but I really wanted the dress ended up buying 2 medium star packs, got the dress in the end but annoyed at myself for spending again when I should be saving, good thing is I am not that bothered about any of the items next week so will save then anyway

Maybe what you saw was the ombré hair that was part of an older event.
