Not just singles think that. I'm married and believe it is overrated. My husband and I don't "celebrate" it at all. We call it a "Hallmark Holiday" since it now has turned into mostly a money-making holiday. We make a nice meal for each other and that's about it. We do more for our kiddos (get them chocolates and cards) than ourselves.
You're right, it's too commercialised. But it's sweet that you get little gifts for the kids! Aww

Hello! I was "Katherine." but I couldn't recover my account after the forum closure as none of my emails would work, so I made a new account. This weekend event has been going well for me so far! I got the hair from my free gift box, and my doll Kat's husband paid for two 8 hour dates at Oak, so Kat's had a lot of vintage wine today! I'm almost to the hair (which I love!) but I think I'll enjoy my Valentine's Day rather than try for the dress.

Yesterday there was a glitch at Napa Valley but Glu fixed it so I missed the opportunity to take advantage of it. A lot of forum members completed the event since yesterday. Boo Glu!!!

I really love the idea of making a nice dinner together and maybe hang out and watch a movie or play a game.. Just something together that's nice It was just Christmas, so I don't need a bunch of other gifts haha. And flowers are beautiful.. For a couple days until they die haha. It is soooo overrated, but I have say; it's my favorite holiday because that's the day my daughter was born!! It was so special even though I was single I moved out of state when I was Pregnant to get away from everything/one, so it was just my mom and me at the hospital, and it was the best day of my life!! i got a better gift than I could've ever asked for!! And now I know I'll always have my valentine every year
