v5 Update Bugs- Android Crashes + Throwback event bugs

I updated my game, everything was fine, even saw the throwback event, but after it disappeared.
Please Glu fix my throwback event.

I think the icon comes and goes at times. At least that sometimes happens in the Weekend events. Try again, and refresh and see what happens. Mine is still up and I've refreshed, etc. They'll work it out otherwise.

Regarding the throwback disappearing Glu wants us to be aware that:

They're already aware of this unlikely but possible case:
- A player updates to v500
- A player gets a Throwback Event
- A player is or becomes higher on the Top Stars list than all NPCs and is offered a Comeback
- Player takes the Comeback and gets their fame reset to 0
- The player's Throwback Event will seem to disappear

Please know that this is an unexpected combination and not a bug.
Luckily, the Throwback Event is just missing for that moment and will come back again at its appropriate spot as soon as the player gains just a little fame.

If you get this problem, please continue to play and get just a few more fans until the Throwback Event reappears. You should not have lost any progress in that throwback event (just a short time, unfortunately).

Ok, why don't you play a little, follow the instructions above for the disappearing Throwback, and then come back and see whether or not you've got it. You know, close the game, shut down, and go back in. That's what I'd try. If you still have the issues, come back list your
Platform/ OS Version/ Device/ Level/ Gender in Game/ with your brief issue.

The good thing, you can play around this while it gets correct.

Vats, Z is fine. I don't know what's up with your game and your fave triplet. Anyway, I've done everything but uninstall and reinstall because I'm too chicken poo to try.

It goes blackish when you try to touch kick off the Celebrity Perks icon. THen wants to send a crash report.

Android Crash after Photobooth - (Different device from the Perks crash) Punta Mita and Florence Backgrounds appear blank when you select them, then the game crashes. I'll go try this on the other Android.

Ok GluGods got another one:

This is my photobooth page, the backgroud disappeared and if I try to take a pic the game crashes. And also when I'm at a gig the NPCs doesn't have their speech bubbles anymore. Please fix that guys!

Got four glitches, brown boots an probably the flu due this cold weather lol

Didn't got Brad Pitt's hairstyle, tho:(

My game crashes when I try to enter the Dubai hotel suite.

Same issue with the missing photo booth backgrounds, crashes when I try to take a picture.

And when I invite NPCs to a gig, the blue star/speech bubble doesn't appear to increase the relationship.

Also, on the Yacht in Sydney, they changed the order of the garage and going outside?

Hope it's a bug, because it's annoying. I keep entering the garage for no reason, when I actually want to go outside.

Playing on an Amazon Kindle Level 28. female. Absolutley nothing has updated!! Nada! Zilch! well maybe I'm lucky....there is nothing to crash. LOL

The throwback event was visible when i updated, now it has disappeared and I haven't received any event points from 3 professional gigs, i haven't done any of the comeback's yet so that can't be the issue, I am in despair about this haha!

Morning everyone. Glu knows about the thread, and therefore our issues, I'm going to compile a list. As far as throwback disappearing, Glu gave us instructions for getting that back. Let me go see if any updates are out, I'm thinking they'll be a little later, it's 3:35 in the morning out in the think tank, so lets hang on. As always, glad one of my games got glitched so no one is in it by themselves. So far we have:

Android crashes when you try to activate the Celebrity Perks of the update
Android crashes when you try to enter home in Dubai
Android crashes in Photobooth - backgrounds blank and crashing in photobooth
iOS/Android handful of games not getting event points
Sydney-Garage & Sydney have switched positions on the yacht exit menu

Perhaps the Kindle update is last to release? Give it some time this morning, and then we'll see if it still isn't out. Have any of your Kindle friends gotten the update?

Hi Victor, please list your game details if you're posting you have a similar or new issue. Just saying 'me too' without your game details doesn't offer any usable info. And doesn't even tell us which of the issues you're experiencing.

I had both the sale and the event for a short time and now they are both gone. (I did not take a comeback.)

I have no info on when the other updates will roll out, but I think I saw Glu say that the event starts when your game takes the update. Emphasis on I "Think". I'll add the platforms waiting for the update in my list of issues.

Koko please add to the issues that the NPCs doesn't have their speech bubbles at gigs anymore and everytime I start the game my google account is disconnected.

Girl I wish I had this clarity of thought at 3am, I woke to do a shift in the game that hour, of course on my time zone, and end up buying Cannes new house that Maria offered to me via luxe achievents lol

That woman is a much better real estate agent than Sandra, I think I bought like 5 houses on the last couple of weeks!

I'm still trying to figure out the google sign in, I hate the gamer ID, I have screenshots where it's telling me to connect to Game CENTER.....as in ios. I think the constant login
is due to Google's new Gamer ID thing, but we'll try and figure it out.
