What's the difference when you level up your contacts?

I leveled up some of my contacts but I don't see a difference in benefits.
It starts off by leveling them to 250 points, then 500. I have one nearing 1,000 but I don't see any difference so far.
Is it really worth it?

Well the prizes you get for each level increase, you start with a few kdolars and energy and end up with 1000+ kdolars and kstars but in the big picture I don't think it makes a difference.
Is there a achievement for friendships or something of the sort?. I remember the conected one but for increasing your friendship level I don't think we have one. One of the big experts in KKH affairs in the house may be able to tell us.

My girlfriend (introduce to me by Kim Kardashian herself) is nearing 2,000.
Romantic goes up to 15,000 Romantic points.

What benefits do you get in the game when you reach the 15,000?
When you max out an NPC connection you get $1,000 kash, some fans, and no K-star, that's it.
The only benefit you get when you hit 15,000 with a spouse or SO, I guess--I really don't know, I have an in-game husband--is the option to have a second baby.
