Industry points confusion.

When I meet people I network with, I get a star and then IO see the "Industry" meter (at the bottom-right-corner of the screen) Sometimes it reads higher and sometimes lower. (For example, I saw it as about 12% and another time 4%.)
Does it read differently for each character I network with? I thought it's supposed to be the same for every contact.

Hi! You're right, it does read differently for each character you network with. I believe the meter fills as a percentage of each milestone (250, 500, 1000 etc). Once you reach 100% of each milestone, the meter resets to show how far until the next level!

Every time I see their captions with a blue star, I get a star with +5.
Do you know if the points go up if I reach the 250, 500 and 1,000?

I believe they stay the same no matter what level of friendship you have.
