Thanks for you patience everyone. I hope we'll have some info soon. I'll even take a "We're aware, and working on it, We'll have it fixed asap". Glu has a pretty good response time for these event issues. Whenever we've been held back, even for 12 hours, I was still able to finish the event with time to spare. So, deep breaths, good thought, and hang in there.

ETA: I have to be honest. When I was up at 2 a.m. and not loading I was in a panic, thought it was just a small handful of players, but I feel confident that thiese event and loading issues will be fixed swiftly.

Now that the event is back i hope they remember to push for Facebook because there is still no event

Im still getting the infinite loading screen, Koko do you know if we'll still have to get the full 600 event points? Doesn't seem fair since we've lost almost half a day maybe even more for those of us that haven't had it fixed yet

I'm sorry I wasn't clear.

If the problem is no event, but you're in the game...that may have been fixed. Glu wants players to check.
If you get the infinite loading screen, that is currently being addressed, and the repair is right around the corner. Just a matter of a little more time.

And when those are fixed, the rest of the platforms should roll out normally.

So your continued patience is very much appreciated. ANd just hang on.

Somehow I think when the event popped up, people just started playing, otherwise they'd be here with us. But I hope it's corrected for them.

Yes, here to confirm the event is working for me now. Also for a lot of people that had the issue of no game before over in the event thread. Crossing my fingers that the game is up and running for everyone soon!

I got mine working. I had to delete my game and reinstall. After I restored the game from my iCloud settings everything was fine. I get the event and it was perfect.

progress on infinite loading....now it's just scrolling from 99.0 to 99.9%. Progress? And it's much slower

I got the event, but no Kim call because you apparently have to have a baby for that. Oh, well. I can just throw tons of parties.

Mine just loaded (finally)! Will report a ticket right now, and let you know what compensation they give for this nonsense! Just for confirmation, what time do events usually start? My timezone is Eastern Time Zone (UTC-05:00), but if you let me know yours I will do the math

. So far it looks like event points are not lowered for us.

and when you get there, copy and save a copy of that id number, and save it on another device, save it everywhere you like. Email it to yourself. That's what I do. and if you're ever glitched out, at least there is a chance they can fix your game from within. BUt without the number, you are locked out till some patch comes along to fix things. Save your ID. Now I'll try to go loac. Oooooh Please.

Just got in now at 215 est gonna open a ticket as well, hope I'm still able to grind for the earnable hair since we still have the regular amount of event points to earn, they should have at least made it less since half my day is already gone :mad:

iOS, female, level 29 on iPad.

The second event job doesn't have any action bubbles to tap so I'm going to fail the event. Also the link to submit an in-game support ticket is missing so I have no way to report my issues to Glu.
