I'm in love with those silver box shoes, everything else is ok, I don't know I feel like I have seen the in-game Kim wear this outfit so often I'm not that exited about it even though it's gorge. Maybe I just wanted to be surprised with new unseen items this weekend. I feel I'm acting a bit spoiled
Also I too think its not fair that girl dolls have a chance too get 200Kstars and boy dolls don't

Has anyone else ever had event pallettes contain NO event items? That happened to me last weekend. In my first pallette (from the free box) I got 2 event items, so there were 2 left. But my next two event pallettes (which I opened with k stars!) had no options. That seems really unfair, to not even give me a chance to find an event item.

That's interesting. Patterns that are random...but the same. Hmpf. One completely negates the other. There could be hundreds of palettes, with only one, two, or three so similar. I'm gonna go with they're just random with the occasional blip that sometimes deals them *randomly* in a near-unbelievable double and/or triple, simply *because* random. The one time ever I followed a "consistent pattern" posted and/or talked excitedly about--and granted it worked maybe for three or four people--it worked out horribly for me. And so ever after, no matter what event or if the dgb, I always stick with my favorite particular boxes, finding much better luck that way. Which never agrees with those "winning" boxes. So weird! Plus, four out of five times I get the coveted hairstyle using my own pattern. Not sure if that's box 1, 4, 5, 6, or 8 I begin with.

Also I agree with Koko's pretty recent gb-opening theories. It's what's always worked best for me too. I'm sorry, can't for the life of me find that post, and so a link, rattling around anywhere in KKH forum land.

Trust me, it's all random. Glu can tweak the randomness but never the spots an item go to. One event the hair is always in the 3rd box, another it's always in the 7th box, it's all just probability or coincidence in laymen term. We humans like to find patterns in our lives, for faith or fun. We've played over a year of events, there's bound to be the probability of majority of us getting a coveted item in the same spot. But do we always? No, not me. Only half the time I get it, maybe even lesser. But I still go with the flow just for fun, so guys, hit me up whenever there's a lucky spot!
Ok in short, it's all random and just the work of probability and statistics.

I was actually wondering when my luck was gonna change during the Throwback Events as I continued to get shoes and accessories... But because of Ticisss who was so nice to share pics of her complete closet, I counted how many items I miss:
- accessories: 39
- tops: 30
- hair: 18
- shoes: 17
- bottoms: 6
So it looks like I hit the 'breaking point' and the balance is shifting! So hopefully we will get many more TBE so I can collect me some pretty tops and hair!!
