    I got the call from Simon to pick my country, but there is no Event Announcement, meter, or any sign of an event, other than the first task in 6 hours. I did a reality show and didn't get event points. I have the bullhorn on my screen, but it is showing only the Nars event ending in 6 hours.

    Same problem as everyone else. I can't be bothered writing out my game info again.

    Officially requesting that Glu post on this forum an explanation for why this keeps happening, too.

    Received the call from Simon to start the writing event and have the event icon but only the NARS ad is there when I click it, no event. And let me say I'm beyond annoyed that this continues to happen week after week when I've invested so much of my own money into this game :mad:

    Good news. Glu sees the problem and it will be fixed very soon. (I think this one is an easy fix :) )

    GLU! The event was running and now it's completely disappeared as well as the NARS advertisement!!!! A mini update gave us some new clothing in our closets but seems to have disrupted the event :(

    Really hoping the update comes soon...I had the event, was ALMOST DONE the second box when it disappeared! I mean, at least I managed to get the hairstyle I wanted from the mystery box, but I wasted so much time on gigs that didn't give me event currency.

    I'm playing on an iPhone 6s
    Opened game and klaxon symbol was there but no weekend event came up
    After several hours it DID (hideous clothes this time!) I completed one reality show and got 23 points but when I opened game AGAIN to play, weekend event has just gone?!
