I'm on 7.1.2 & I had the mini update like everyone else but I don't see the SYS event. I get weekend events fine but the weekday/midweek events I never get.
What platform are you playing on? If you are playing on Facebook, they did not get the event. If you are playing on iOS or Androids, I would send an I game ticket to support and they'll try to help you.
