Just a weird glitch. I was actually trying to gift a FEMALE doll and got the male version. The clothes are what my NPC spouse was wearing so I'm thinking the game just got wires crossed and this was the result.
It's a feature with the hotel. Some of the other businesses have this as well. Your payout will increase the more you do gigs because your business becomes "more popular" around the world. That's why it mentions Antarctica... because the penguins are excited to stay at your hotel? I don't however know what the max payout is. I haven't done enough gigs to find out

Yeah those windows usually pop up after we complete the weekly hotel tasks. I got increases on the payments for 4 or 5 straight weeks, then they stopped. I didn't get the Antarctica one though. Currently I'm getting 3 stars and 4.250 kash.

I'm starting to wonder if Luxe goals are entirely random. Maria has called about the same things over and over as far as homes to buy and furniture lately. I got the same call about a chandelier two days in a row. Like is there is set number of things she calls you about and then pesters you unless you already own them or buy them?

I wish we did know how it's decided. I can't recall ever being offered a discount on a pet but other players have said they get those kinds of offers fairly regularly. I get offers to buy furniture probably a third of the time but unless it's kash furniture, I never buy it.
James never gets offers from Maria. I suppose that's a glitch?
My husband just asked me if I wanted another baby, and I said yes! I was really hoping for a son this time, but I had another daughter. It's okay tho, at least it's double the glam. My first daughter is a total mini-me, but this daughter, Veronica, takes after my husband completely (except for my olive skin tone, I suppose)!

I have a new theory about the odds of weekend's GB. First I thought that the percentage to each item to pop up in one of the boxes were around 50%, and then if an item is there you have 3 chances in 8 to get them within that set.
However based on my observations and chases, I noticed that there are certain types of items that are most likely to receive than others.
For example tops (jackets, shirts, tuxedos...) are not that hard to get. Hairstyles aren't that easy, still aren't rare too while bottoms (pants and shorts) doesn't come as often.
Acessories are trick to track since some seems to come easier than others, guess this has to do with the fact that some can catch the interest of the players easier than others, like monkey X sunglasses.
In my book, shoes are the most difficult to get. I'm saying that because, I get them once in a blue moon when they are released, but my TB are filled with them and it's like it's all get there.
Notice that I'm talking here about guy's stuff. Maybe with girls things play a little different.

A fragrance business can be very lucrative, Britney's numbers are incredible! Just came to my mind that the dolls could have new animations holding fragrances/lipsticks/smartphones (as in K&K) and other stuff to diversify a little bit.
