Wow, did you see that? They practically started the event thread for us.....except for a couple of things.
Um, no little pep talk from Kim about how great the event will be no matter what the activity is.
Then there was no colorful chant.
Not trying to nitpick, so um.....
you're tryna dance but there is no music.
I appreciate you trying to let me sleep, since we're still celebrating Puterheads's birthday,
but really, from now on......get me up and let me help you out with this.

    For the first time ever, I'd like a dating event. I'm not usually keen on them as they use up energy without earning money, just spending it, but Kathrine's nearly reached 12,000 with her new husband... and that means babies ;) . And, since she got married last week, Simon and Maria keep making her go on dates so it would be good to get some event points for that!
    Having said all that, I'd like parties too as I'm stuck at that awkward comeback stage where you have to double your followers before you progress up the list.

    Lol, I just like parties now because with more guests, they are not a drudge anymore. I fill the house up with 9 friends and have a blast. ;). Parties/ Sys/Reality Yeah! Any of those and I’ll be a happy grinder.

    Thank you Glu Goddess. Dating sounds great. :) That Top Couple Trophy is looking very doable. Maybe after this event. Whoelse is ready to date? I heard we have probable babies, maybe a wedding is near? And of course. that lovely trophy. Hey, anyone who won it want to post it here for inspiration, motivation, and that all needed push needed to bring it home? I'd love to see it in all's it's glory.

    Dating’s much better now with he magic wine again....... and I’m sure the prizes will be the 3Gbs, then a TB Box. ;). Usually, TB boxes are available for purchase whenever we have TB prizes for the event.

    Oh no.... James went to the casino this weekend and lost most of his money. I’m not sure he can afford to date.
    Dixie has a ridiculous amount of kash so she’s good.
    I wish we could gift more. I’d love it if Dixie could send James some kash. I’d also love to be able to send Kstars to friends.
    Any hope of better gifting in the future?

    I know there’s vintage wine at Oak in SoHo and Monsterbowl by LAX but I don’t recall if it’s anywhere else?

    I'd only welcome gifting kash and kstars if Glu figured out a way to block "modified" games. I can just picture it now: KKH Black Market

    As far as I know, the wine for $650 and 4 energy by itself will complete a one hour date at either venue. Add with a kiss action those two will equal a two hour date. a two hour date for eight energy... $650 is well worth it in my mind. But don't take 1 hour dates at oak. You can't always get the wine right away.
    Hey how many of us are still doing the empty or energy at the end of our day into a 12 hour gig at Soho Kardash? Wayback when @wish suggested doing this each night he for you shut down. you dont lose any fans, or anything if you don't finish your shift well. but whatever you've emptied out is still cash. it's like throwing change in a bowl at the end of the night. It adds up and that's how I started to amass my first hundred thousand. :)

    Last I checked, Oak is now the best place for dates.  The wine might be the same, but the Expensive Meal task gives you 24 at Oak and only 12 at MonstroBull.
    The ferris wheel took 22 energy to do a one-hour date so I won't be doing that again.

    How about the cheaper/inexpensive dates at the Country Club in the Hamtons. The beach venue in Mexiso and a few other locations.

    I used to date in Vegas. The Miraggio Grande has a task....$450 and I think 4 energy, so long ago I can't remember the task now. It was a meal I think, and it had a lot of stars, not nearly as much as the wine in oak, but it was a nice dating place. A fun date is also the Gondola ride in Venice. I've once again picked Apple for the win.....the iPad is just such a nice device to play. There's no way I can do 3 to the TB, so pick one and drill down. ;) THat is how I did the reality #1 spot. Pick one game to focus on and get the dress. I decided that's the way to earn my Top Couple trophy.
    Who has any good strategies? Mine....if I'm dating for the event I try to do 4 hour dates at Oak.

    This is exactly why I detest dating in KKH. Just started the dating event. Picked a random NPC. Two dates in and this happened. Glu, please fix dating in KKH. At the moment I am very close to boycotting all dating events.
