AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED INTO 8HR EVENTS W/O MY KNOWLEDGE

So every time im done with an event i open my phone moments later to find that the game automatically put me in an 8 hr event without my knowledge or manual starting of the event. Like I never clicked “start event”. I just causally go on the app and I panic and look down in the bottom left corner and see “1 hr 5 m” left and without any stars put in, my energy will be full (37) and I’ll be confused and sad bc I’m not able to do an 8HR event in an hour. This has happened twice and it feels like the game is going to different locations and playing these events itself and it’s really pissing me off bc it’s out of my control and causing me to lose thousands of fans. Pls help!!
