Issues with Photo booth.

I am having the weirdest issue with my photo booth. I have tried to get sone pictures taken. You cab see everything is run of the mill booth
After I click on the camera to take the picture the red x dissapears, i can't exit the booth, i cantI back out, i essentially have to exit the game
When I reload, no pictures have been saved.
This is not a storage issue. Anyone has any clue as to why this is happening? I started playing this game because i was bored while hospitalized and I have grown fond of it.
