I almost never break 50!! I can occasionally hit high 40s... How y'all do it? Because based on the looks I see here, there's not much I can do differently. In the other events anyway, maybe not this one.
I cant watch videos to unlock items in sys. I cant even watch daily videos ,it takes me directly to the offerwall.Anyway when I click unlock nothing happens and the chance to unlock the item in sys goes away. ITS frustrating. Are they going to fix the video issues or not.
Slow first five, but anywhere in the 40s is normal for me. Can't believe I forgot my sparkles for Look 2--and I always use it! I think imma take dress 4 out of rotation for now...it keeps scoring lower than I think it will. Last sys it was a low 40s dress, but this is a new low. Time to break out the dye!!! It can only get better from here!

This blank voting booth is so annoying and it is happening to me more and more lately. I was watching the timer - it was empty 30+ seconds before I decided to just close the app. Is this a glitch? How do I fix it? Is anyone else experiencing this?
Whew! Holy Hell yall really went to town on this subject and I'm so glad you did! It's about time this was brought up! Alright I'm going to try really hard to make sure I don't miss anyone, here goes nothing lol
@Rikk Unfortunately it been a constant in all the SYS I've ever done, I had to learn the hard way in the beginning that voters whether they mean to or not pay attention to skin tone. I have a little sister who also plays and both of us have to use blonde hair and blue eyes, and it kills me a little more each time we have to do that.
@daffodil Yep it's true, and very unfortunate, I'm sure there are more dolls that have dealt with this kind of thing, and after reading all these replies, I KNOW there's a ton of us out there that have to alter our skin tone during SYS. At least you aren't one of those people that takes skin tone into account when voting.
@MinterBalki Man, I'm really glad I mentioned it! My thoughts when I was typing up the post were literally "I can't be the only doll out there that is having this issue" and yeah it's up to the voters but I guess the question is, How do we change the voter's mind.

@alycat I mean I'm just speaking from my PERSONAL experience ya know. It is 100% possible for somebody to have a different experience, but on my end, skin tone, unfortunately, determines my amount of votes.
@lafeedragee Yes! I agree! like I said "hard-wired racism" is basically people who think subconsciously that "white is right" unfortunately like you said we take literally like 2 seconds to vote and not thinking before we click.

But I really just needed to know, cause deep down I just KNEW that it had something to do with skin tone. And in the end, I had my answer for sure in my case it was skin tone that made the difference for votes.

And you're right this is not just a topic to be brushed odd and not discussed and dealt with. I do feel like us darker skin toned dolls are at a huge disadvantage when playing SYS, and I think many of us realize that when we play our first SYS, you just automatically know. And I loved the end of your post especially. It is BOTH ridiculous AND SAD. Let's hope this is the beginning of a little bit of much-needed change. Thank you so much for your insight, you have no idea how much I and probably a lot of other dolls appreciate it.

@Ryley1e I think your looks are all so beautiful but i have definitely seen a huge difference in short dresses vs gowns in this SYS so I think gowns may be your best bet to get a higher score 😉
@LaLaLola it makes me sad that you and your little sister have to change your skin tone and hair color, but you know what I do it with my doll too... here’s hoping that eventually the sys will stop favoring blonde, blue eyes, and fair skin. Personally I think all dolls look better with a little tan! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

@thenailaholic I agree with Ryley, change the hair so that we can see the necklace better. And if the hair shows the ears, use some earrings that are a bit smaller so that the attention is drawn to the necklace. The dress and the color are beautiful though.

I try to pick the most complete/appropriate look out of the two. That doesn't mean I don't, but it means if I do it's not intentional, which says a lot. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. Makes my heart hurt. 😞
