I have both and find that the confetti aura is more useful overall than the pink petals. The pink petals, I rarely use unless its something like a light color/pink/spring SYS, which mostly we have already had, otherwise, I don't find myself ever reaching for them. They both do score well usually though. But I think the confetti compliments a wider range of SYS themes than the pink petal aura does so you'd get more use out of it.
My top 3 in TS is an all out bidding war, while I watch with popcorn from spot #4 lol. No opal dye for me this week, but I’m hoping no one pushes me out of top 5 because the mask is cool🤷🏼♀️ I ended up with 704, which I’m proud of.
This is my TS board (edit: #1 is now at 800+ points when no one is fighting her) I will finish 3rd or lower- I started late enough that our group should have only had 13 free looks. #1 and #2 are ticket buyers. #1 shot up to 500+ points on day 1, she calmed down a bit but still way out of reach. At least I knew from the beginning there was no chance so I was laid back about the whole event and barely checked my game the whole weekend.
This is boring! SYS used to be fun but Glu has sucked out every last ounce of fun or joy it once brought me with these unfair events. The triple threat bundle was one of the most tone deaf decisions Glu could have possibly made. You have hundreds of players begging for a way to make TS more fair, and the response is to introduce a way to encourage even more ticket buying.
I think I only continue participating in SYS for nostalgia - it’s really become such a chore.
Anyway, I know my post will mean absolutely nothing to Glu so I’m done. Here are my highest/lowest/and favorite looks from this event:
Pretty annoyed I was less than 10 away from getting the earnable hair since I lost a ticket and if my last score had gotten the usual average for this event, the lost ticket wouldn't even have mattered.
