Has anyone else ever encountered this problem? I've tried restarting my phone a few times but it keeps popping up. 
Android Player. Galaxy S22
Player since 2014 with some accidental resets.

    Glu is aware and looking into this.  Could you please post you Android OS version number?  Thanks. 
    Luckily, aside from the error message I have not found any issues. No frozen friends, no data loss.  Fingers crossed.

    Same thing happening to me, I have the latest android version available (Pie 9) . Everything seems fine with the game.

    I recieved the same message on . Im on pie 9. On samsung galaxy s8.

    please keep posting you OS & device info.  It helps Glu investigate and remedy.  I am very glad there seem to be no other issues around it.  The best glitch, is one that you can play through.  ;). Thanks for your patience.

    I'm on Galaxy S9 with android version 10. I'm sorry others have the same issue, but I'm glad I'm not alone!

    I'm relieved it's not just me....I'm Galaxy s6 edge version 7.0.....my concern is the only thing not working is the ability to sign in on Google...which is the only way to safely transfer the game to a new device correct?

    I got my message last night, and then this morning saw another player had it.  But Glu is looking into it, thanks for posting everyone, if you get the message, please post your  Device and OS v number.  :)
    So far it's still my tab, my larger View hasn't gotten it ...yet. Thanks again.

    Having the same problem as everyone else too.
    I have Samsung galaxy s8 plus, android version 8. It was working perfectly fine yesterday, hope the problem gets resolved soon.

    This morning my 2nd Android got it.
    Samsung sm- t760   with os 5.1.1

    I have been having this same issue and its very frustrating, its been going on now for the past 4 days where this message keeps popping up everytime I get into the game. I have the samsung galaxy S9 plus, Android version 10

    Just got this message and I am on Nexus 5x, Android 8.1.0

    Try these steps to resolve the Google Play issue and let us know if it works:
    Uninstall the Google Play app.
    Launch the KKH app.
    Fully close (swipe away) the KKH app.
    Install Google Play app and launch it.
    Launch KKH app and it should not show the error anymore.

    Google Play is not uninstallable on my phone, it's part of the Android environment. Only choices are "Disable" and "Force Stop".

    Uninstall the Google Play games app.
    Launch the KKH app.
    Fully close (swipe away) the KKH app.
    It will prompt you to install the Google play games app again
    Install Google Play games app and launch kkh
    Launch KKH app and it should not show the error
    Platform: Android/ Doll's name: Syndy KKH
    Level: 73/officially ran out of old story lines at 72
    Ranking: A+++

    If you have a Google phone like me, there is no option to uninstall Google Play Games either. Only Disable. And trying the instructions with disable instead didn't work.

    I’m with Ali.  My choices are disable & force stop

    is there an option to "uninstall updates" on the google play games app on the google phone, @kokokokonut , @AliBryant ?

    When I tap disable, I get an additional message that says "Replace the app with the factory version? All data will be removed." When I tested it, I only disabled, I didn't agree to the second part. If someone else wants to test that, let me know how it goes!

    I can uninstall google play games. But the rest of the steps dont work.

    You might be able to disable Google Play Games and then uninstall it and follow the steps. Uninstall the updates like @luvs2gruuv said if it asks
