Hi @keepingupwithkelsey, I haven't been that active on the forum but I'm passionate about mental health and when I saw your post I felt compelled to share.
I used to have panic attacks all the time relating to an illness and haven't had one in years until the other day when I got some rough news about someone in my family. One of the most important things I learnt is to calm yourself down by pacing gently and breathing. Breathing is so important because when you're having a panic attack you hyperventilate which cuts off oxygen to your brain and makes everything worse. So my doctor taught me to take ten seconds to breathe in and another ten to breath out and make sure you count slowly. I can't tell you how much that helped since it's much easier to calm yourself down when you're not hyperventilating. It sounds so simple but it's not always obvious when you're in the middle of a panic attack!
Aside from that, jot down everything that's making you anxious on paper. It's a great way to get those things out of your head and stop the attack from returning. Have two columns of what you can and can't control and write a little step of what you can do next to each item. This can stop you from feeling helpless and getting overwhelmed.

Once on the phone, before she passed, my mother told me to put my right hand on my left shoulder, my left on my right shoulder, and hug. And when she was gone to just hug myself like that whenever I needed her hug, and keep holding myself like that thinking about her and soon I would feel her there in that hug. After 23. Years I still do that, and mommy was right, I do feel her that way. and I feel better. Try that, remembering your own special person. For the emotionally raw, it helps. And the self soothing videos sounds great.

@keepingupwithkelsey Not sure if this will help, but i have started teaching myself embroidery to help with my anxiety! It doesnt help so much when im in the middle of a panic attack, but it does help me if i can feel one coming on. It forces me to focus entirely on one thing (or else I'll mess it up) and it gives me something to do with my hands. You can get some scrap fabric, a hoop and some thread for under $20 from most craft stores 😊. Hope this helps 💕

@kokokokonut I think a thread about it would be amazing! I too suffer from mental health issues and I personally don’t talk to anyone about my problems, so having a safe and supportive place on here to talk and vent would be helpful to not just me but to plenty of others. I’ve seen a lot of people on here mention mental health and I think many of us could benefit from having a place like that to go to, even if it ends up as something like a ‘cute animal pictures’ thread, because little things like that help me when I’m feeling down.

Thank you for starting a thread specifically about the virus. I was having to stay out of the SYS thread since it was fueling the anxiety I was already feeling. About the SYS, this theme won't be bad but I have the feeling I'm going to have to switch back and forth between gowns and the type of dresses I think make sense for this theme.
I have to bring the money boots out of storage. I love them, I've dyed them colors, but I can never seem to just wear them. How do you feel about the money items in everyday wear?

I mean this sincerely: I feel as if Glu is trying so hard to churn out an SYS event every weekend that the quality of items (both earnable and trendsetter), theme, and general effort has dramatically decreased.
I would much rather have SYS events spaced out with better quality everything than have one every weekend that seem to get less creative as time goes on.
Glu, you've already lost so many players, please consider making literally any of the hundreds of suggestions us players have voiced, and improve the game so that you don't lose any more players.

I bought with diamonds a while back I’m not sure where it’s from as I’m fairly new to the game - I never used it because I didn’t like the roots after I bought and now I keep seeing on other dolls and I love it
