I think these rumors with the game ending in June should be clarified for the sake of the players in this community, people did invest money and time in this game, they deserve at least that much.Ā
I would hate it if those rumors turn out true... bc this game has a big and beautiful community of players that are still here, playing, no matter their complaints and requests sometimes being granted sometimes not, never seen such a loyal base of players for many games, and Iām a gamer for years, played different type of games trough last years... so yeah, it would be a pity if it turns out true,I think the game has a lot of potential going forward.. so Iām not sure ending it itās a smart move, from a business point of view.

Iām not a lawyer or anything so somebody correct me if you actually know about these things lol, but I donāt think thereās any reason Kimās contract ending means that the game is ending... I think the game can still continue just fine, glu just wouldnāt have exclusive rights to certain things and Kim is free to work with other apps, and wouldnāt have to promote kkh.
Weāve already noticed Kim barely being a part of the game anymore, especially since we havenāt gotten new storyline/calls actually involving Kim in literally who knows how long. I think gluās been transitioning to her not being a part of this for awhile now, so hopefully thatās a good sign theyāll keep the game going long past the contract ending š

I don't know how much I buy into this rumor since I've seen people say this before and then the game kept going. And since we're getting more things we can spend diamonds on, there needs to be more ways to earn diamonds.
Glu still putting efforts into updates every single month must mean something good right?? Even with Kim's contract with Glu aparently ending in June as you all say, maybe Glu will re-name the game to something like "Hollywood Life" or something like that? Right?? Thats an option lol :PĀ

The contract goes through June 30, 2020 and has since the initial contract was amended a third time, a few years ago. Any ārumorsā of that being different dates in the past were probably due to people looking at older versions of the contract. The contract is available online for those who know how to google. There is a one year extension period where Glu can continue to use Kimās likeness, which would bring us to June 2021. Additionally on Gluās quarterly call earlier this year, a participant asked the question to Gluās CEO and he answered positively with no details on plans to end the game, but he would let investors know when the time comes. So who knows maybe they will amend the contract for a fourth time and extend it further. Their next quarterly call is on May 7th.

On the other hand, Glu is totally out of touch with Kimās image for a while, giving her bleach blonde hair in every promo pic which she hasnāt had in years at this point. Not to mention the absence of her presence in storylines, and the fact that only Kalinda calls us in game anymore. Also the numbers show, again these are public knowledge and easily verifiable, that revenue has drastically decreased in the past year. I hope Kim does decide to extend the agreement again, but I would understand if she doesnāt.

This might not be true for everyone, I can only speak for myself, but I would still love to play without Kim's presence in the game. Ā It really wouldn't bother me at all, especially if we still got storylines periodically that just weren't Kardashian-related. Ā Not that I don't enjoy that stuff now, it just wouldn't take away any enjoyment I have for the game, you know? That's just my personal take on it. Basically, I enjoy playing & hope the game continues (if possible) regardless of Kim's contractš
On the Glu website they seem to be hiring a Senior Product Manager in Toronto for KKH, so that would be a bit strange if it were to end in June. Someone here should apply and fix everything we donāt like! Ā

I personally know a few of Big games that changed their names due to different things and still staying the same just with a different name,so that is probably one of the options GLU has for the situation when Kim leaves.Ā
I just spend 100k plus kash at the casino. No kstars. I the spun kollections 4 times. Nothing but energy, kash or some silly jewelry. Everytime i click on the free kstars option i almost never get the option To choose the video. It just opens the offers. Show us the options page because it gets very annoying.
