Okay long post alert... I couldn’t shake the feeling that I needed the purple skirt to match my top. I rarely ever chase things in the gift boxes. Like I can count the times I have done it on one hand. And it has only ever been successful for me one time. But I thought “I never chase things and this is something I really like so why not?” (I swear I took a screenshot but apparently I didn’t.) So I opened one box... peach colored gift box dress. I’m furious. Why did I pay 40 stars for something that is supposed to be free and appear in my daily gift box even though it never does. I open another box because I anticipated the possibility of getting garbage the first time. 5 green dye. So 1 dye is worth 8 stars?? No. I think well I have to have a chance of picking something even if it’s just the shoes. Something has to make this worth it. I have a 50/50 chance. 3rd box. 50 energy. I hit collect. The skirt wasn’t even ******* in there! I spent 120 stars on nothing. Literal garbage. I know most of you do this every week and you think no big deal. That’s part of it. But I don’t do this. And this is why. I don’t buy star packs. I don’t have a vip subscription. My stars are hard earned by the time and effort I put into my game. And I literally gambled away part of my Kimiversary savings. I would have about 600 stars right now but with this event combined with gambling on a kollection, I am pretty much destitute with nothing to show for it.
I have anxiety. I don’t throw that word around lightly. I have been diagnosed and I take medicine for it. And stupid, silly, tiny things like this trigger it. So I had a little baby panic attack. I thought I’m being so silly. And then I thought. You know what? A stupid virtual game shouldn’t make me feel like crap all the time. I’m very hard on myself and this made me hate myself for being so stupid and thinking I could get something out of a gift box. Why am I playing a game that stresses me out so much and is adding to my anxiety? I’m a teacher so I still can’t go to work and I’m stuck at home with nothing to do so I probably will still play. But I am going to play with a different outlook on it. I’m not going to open gift boxes. I will not spin kollections (at least until Kimiversary.) I will not break my back trying to finish throwback events. I will not worry about getting all of the VIP items. I am not going to worry if I place top 5 in SYS. (I quit worrying about placing first a long time ago) I am going to submit outfits that I want to submit and not ones that I know will score well. I am going to have fun with it. I will not have FOMO. Hopefully this will give me a fresh perspective on the game. The end.
Quick question: do you guys still date your husbands after you've maxed out their bar? I just maxed him out and I'm debating if I should just restart but with a different guy...
If you still need babies and don’t want to adopt, you need 12, 000and 15 thousand points with the same doll . . So, I dumped a hubby I had maxed out and remarried. the next update brought babies. I would have automatically gotten one the next date with the old hubby. Now I keep the hubby I have just In case anything new thing pops up. I adopted 2 babies btw.

@ashleydianem I know exactly how you feel. At the end of the day we need to remind ourselves that this is just a game, and its ok if we dont have every single item or the most complete wardrobe. If you need anyone to talk to you can dm me anytime ☺️
@ashleydianem I can relate.. to suffering with anxiety in real life and getting it bc of this game as well. I also let go of my hope in Sys bc I realized its not great for my mental health. Also I remember chasing some earrings in GB and I wasted like an extra 200 kstars bc I really wanted some virtual item, but glu makes it hard to reach them when these boxes have useless garbage in them. So yep I was also mad at myself n regretted it later (actually tried refunding my purchase) that’s how bad I felt about my impulse. But I wish you the best in your mental health, your a priority ♥️. Kkh In the end is just a distraction/escape but It’s not the same anymore to me when it’s rigged in various ways n stressful in TS.
Finally finished the dating event ! 🤩 I didn’t know I would finished this so fast, I actually liked it a lot. Also got 3 gifts from my BF, which I didn’t know. So from now on I will go more on dates to receive gifts ✌️
After being stuck around #35 for ages, I finally moved up to top 25! … And with that same date, I completed the event! That’s the earliest it ever happened for me! Now I’m kind of wondering what to do, haha!
Oh, and I asked this in a previous thread but didn’t get any answer: I have finished 2 of the comebacks and I only have Love Guru to do, but I’ve heard many people complain about the new action we get. I normally date at Monstrobull and I don’t want to get stuck between an 8-energy action and a 9-energy one when I only need a few points. Is there another place that’s better for dating after getting the new action? Somewhere without an 8-energy option? Or somewhere where you have 3 or more choices of actions (like our professional gigs)? That seems like a big design flaw if the "reward" action is putting us at a disadvantage…

you only unlock these when you have finished 7 or 3 kollections, and you can spin until all of the items are yours!
