Oh I love Paris in the Springtime.....(Personally, I have no frame of reference. that's from an old song I think. A musical.)
Anyway.....the only music we're thinking about this event.......The Rhythm of the Street....Paris Street.....
Paris Street Style to be exact.
Wow....ok so beret and umbrella? Can we submit looks with our poodle? He's French!
I don't know what Paris Street Style is, anymore than I know London Street Style.
But .....I know it's going to be fun!

I'm excited for this theme, and while I don't know what to wear...... I'm going to love seeing all my forum friends outfits, for inspiration.
I don't think we'll see antlers, and are Gowns considered Street Style? (Um, that's a no.)
And I just can't wait for the spoilers!

I'm way too excited!!!! I planned my looks a couple of days ago, but now I see these are more winter-y than they're supposed to be🤣 But it's still quite cold where I live, so I guess I'm excused...😛 I'm so excited mainly because I can feel it in my bones that this week is the week I'll finally find the fishnet pants!! YES! I have been heavily preparing all week for this!!! I even did some research of Paris’ most current street styles and some of the most iconic Paris fashions since I figured that the theme was so broad and I want to help some dolls 😊

A disclaimer! I am in no way an expert in Parisian fashion. This is all just what I’ve gather from my research; reading blogs, articles, studying images and such. What’s most important is that we all have fun! I can’t wait to see what you dolls come up with 😃💖

So here we go 💖 (Before we get started... you can never go wrong with a beret 😉)

For everyday Parisian chic. What’s favored are light, nude colors. Chic and effortless. A very simple silhouette that subtly accentuates the feminine form but with a touch of masculinity for effortless androgyny. Favored pieces I noticed are pointed pumps, ballet flats, blouse tops, blazers, boots, neutral colors, sneakers, oversized sunglasses and mini to medium bags.

For the fashionably affluent. I looked to the attendees of Paris Fashion Week and found that a lot of the pieces from everyday wear transitioned and blended well here. In addition to many of the everyday items, many turned to plaids and stripes, billowing and looser silhouettes, turtlenecks and large coats.

And now some of my favorite and most iconic moments in Parisian fashion history. Now they may not be “street style” but I think they count for something! Starting with Dior’s New Look from 1947. No words, just look haha 😂😂

And lastly, probably my favorite designer and my favorite pieces of his, I present Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel in the 1990s. We actually have some Lagerfeld pieces! Both under his name and just “regular” Kloset items!
