The problem is,and i quote one of those, “ I dont care hun i just want to get the first place and i have what to spend so looks dont matter.” 🤷🏼♀️
And also people vote out of spite against on theme looks so that those who actually would get so many votes loose. That was told to me a lot of times on facebook and that is the reason i gave up on this. GLU doesnt care. The only change we will see in SYS will be more things to buy with real money.
@KalindaKing You said in the previous SYS thread that you hoped for the glitches to be fixed soon so you could get back to planning ways to make the game more enjoyable. You know what would do that? Scratch the SYS events entirely. It seems that unfortunately the technical issues run too deep to get fixed. Maybe it’s time to start fresh by building something up from the beginning.
The SYS events are completely unfair, all parts of it, both the earnable side and the TrendSetters side. On the earnable track, your success depends on whether the people who are going to judge you care about the theme or not. As it’s been proven again this week, you can put the most gorgeous, on-theme looks out there, if you end being judged by someone not paying attention, not understanding the theme, jealous of your items, obsessed with gowns, or whatever other reason, you’ll end up failing. The scores that so many dolls in this thread have received is outrageous!!! It is also completely random. The same looks posted by 2 different dolls will get widely different scores, all depending on who judged you. That’s not normal. Basically, no matter how much effort you put into your looks, your success relies purely on luck.
As for TrendSetters, we go through the same drama every week. This is what truly KILLS all enjoyment from the game for me. It’s demoralizing, spending the whole weekend just looking at someone splashing cash and taking all hope away from you. What’s the point of competing against someone who kicks you out of your spot from the start? Or of stressing yourself to death at the end thinking someone will sneak up on you? Where is the enjoyment here?? Now. I’m not saying ticketbuying is always bad. Glu needs it for profit. If you missed a ticket, it’s only fair you get to catch up. If some of your looks bombed, I understand why you would want to submit extras to reach the last earnable. I just wish it wouldn’t affect the TS board. If you use your money in the game, it should definitely give you something exclusive, than non-paying customers don’t get. That’s what buying Fashion Goals or k-stars (which in turn allow you to buy expensive items) gives you. It shouldn’t punish non-paying customers. It shouldn’t be, hey, fight for that thing that you could get with some effort but will never because it’s a rigged competition. You’re giving people hope and then crushing it. Ticketbuyers buy tickets because they really like the items, true, and I understand how they feel, but does it mean that if you don’t buy tickets you don’t really want the items and deserve to have them taken away? There have been many many MANY suggestions on how Glu could improve this while still making money from the tickets. I am personally in favor of ranking based on an average rather than the top 14 looks, because with one "lucky" submission scoring higher than normal, you would be able to eliminate the others, whereas you would have to be consistently good throughout the event if it was based on your average. It would also be more profitable for Glu since you would probably have to use a few tickets to increase your average if it was bad to start with. This would definitely help eliminate all the antlers / wedding dress / off-theme gown wearers that have nothing to do here. I have suggested this a few months ago, but another way Glu could make money would be to make the prizes purchasable by real money for a limited time at the end of the event (let’s say 24 hours, while the SYS icon is still there) and the price would depend on where you ranked. This way, the deserving ones get the prize, but also the ones willing to pay for it just like now. It would still be exclusive because not everyone would be using real money but it would be more fair.
Honestly, it’s really disheartening to see that nothing is being done about it after months of complaints. I have never been on a game forum where there is so much anxiety and drama. And it’s all because of SYS. It’s unhealthy. It’s not enjoyable
What you suggested was how sys looked in the beginning before they made it “better”. You would get an item to buy and create outfits around it. It was so much better but 🤷🏼♀️ Profit is what GLU thinks off so i dont expect any change (Especially back to the old one) other than introducing something to get them to earn more...

Hahahahahahahha i know i saw it too, i commented on a post where they were bashing people for reporting hackers and she (the same admin) told me to shut up and blocked me from commenting for saying “yeah that Is because its simply not fair play” 😂😂😂😂

That is why they have to buy tickets. There is no way for these people to win without buying tickets and they know it. If people could actually style well they would win on merit instead of having to pay to come in first ahead of better stylists. If Glu would just change the system to take the top 14 looks only into account for TS, we would see a lot more fairness.
