@buriteri I don't have enough words to express how thankful I am for you trying to bring things out to light, there is sure an ocean of information with endless angles waiting to be explored, we just gotta have the patience and the will to learn and understand, but everytime I try to say something around here that might be foolish or wrong of me to think, someone has to come for my jugular 😪 I really felt the warmth of your words and you shocked me to my core 🙏🏻 Thank you, miss 🤍
@desmondang87 hi welcome 😊👋, during Kimiversary, witch is next update, old exclusive items are available to buy in the closet. These items are more expensive then regular kloset items also the regular kloset items are discounted with 50% I think.
@desmondang87 also there is a thread dedicated to Kimiversary where you can find more about items that will be available and other things regarding to kimversary 😊
Thanks for the reply, do you know approx when is the next update? For now, I’m so gonna save all the kstars for kimversary.... and did you get any nice stuffs from last kimversary?

My country is not very diverse like US or other western places and even I had no idea what cultural appropriation was and why it was important till some years back, using POC cultural hairstyles as a trend is just something that happens A LOT even by high fashion designers and magazine and I get why it can be confusing to see people react like that until you see their perspective, I'm sure you didn't mean to be offensive to POC and no one intended you to feel attacked but its just something that happens so much that people have to raise their voice firmly, I don't mean this as an attack or stretching the topic; just wanted to let you know that I've been where you are about not knowing the other perspective =]
It’s no ones place to kindly educate anyone especially someone who constantly shrugs away things. Read the room and the world at this point. I’m tired I’m literally physically and emotionally exhausted. It’s very hard out here for poc and blacks and we owe no one any education.

Its gonna be on a weekend next month but the exact date isn't the same every year, the past kimiversary items and discounts are all discussed in detail in this thread =]
@brunakkh I admire so many people of color from so many cultures around the world, I honestly don't have a "color" barrier in my day to day life and I just see everyone as an equal human no matter their skin tone, but when I'm trying to have a decent conversation and for it to be later called some "condescending bs", I don't know, it just leaves me bitter 🤷🏼♀️
I totally see that some of you are more open to talk about stuff, some other are just edgy and hate for people to talk about things which are not part of their life, but after all we're humans and we should try to build bridges not bring them down
Also I'm sorry for anyone that might have their hearts filled with rage and hate, I didn't try to ignite any drama but regardless of that thought I'll still pray for y'all inner peace and harmony 🙏🏻😪
i wouldn’t sit and type out a paragraph to try to “educate” someone on something like cultural appropriation in an sys thread but some of you are way nicer than i am. to me it is basic human consideration to be aware of things like this. imagine you traveled to another country and you decided to adopt a culture you have 0 knowledge of just for the vacation, like dreads or an afro.. you’d probably run into a real life problem. at least here you are only receiving a couple comments with your @ name.

I think everyone needs to read this, and then read it again. It is already a privilege to just learn about racism instead of experience it, taking time educate ourselves is literally the least we can do.

Girl, you are so shady. You started it, even cause @carolinakkh asked a question, I answered and you got hurt without being called at all. It's not the first time that I see you starting drama over here... Anyway, I hope that what everybody said have really helped you understand and if don't google it's free. 🤍 peace and goodnight.

@hanandcheese if you go into the voting booth and tap ‘get this look’ it will take you to the bottom picture, and you can purchase anything available for diamonds or anything in the closet
iOS - Ivy Kkh on FB! - ok i don't know what most people put here i'm gonna go now
I have never received a diamond when voting. I went through about 20 rounds of voting and then...
Finally!
Here were some looks I liked in the voting booth:
OMG! I’ve been off the forum for a few weeks, because I’m finishing my master thesis, but I just checked in to se, if I was the only one getting shitty scores, and now I see my doll here 😍 🥺 thank you ♥️ Not happy about the score though 😭

Dont wanna continue to stir the pot but I just wanna say instead of shading the poc dolls who tried to explain to you, try understanding them. We have been educating and explaining for generations, so for someone to still be ignorant and try to tell us that we should share our culture is frustrating. We have every right to be angry, hateful, or full of rage. It’s incredibly exhausting, and its not our job to educate anyone at all. You have every resource at the tip of your fingers, and you are a grown person who knows very well how to access them. The fact that you say you dont see color and that we’re all equal is a problem itself. We are not equal and we are not colorless. The sooner you acknowledge that, the better you can help yourself to understand why poc face what we face, and why we are so upset and protective of our cultures. Our culture is all we have. Hope this helps you and everyone agreeing with your posts have a little more understanding!
@therealChar@deliqhted i admire y'all so much. i always see you both being so kind and always trying to enlighten people and it honestly amazes me. god knows i don't have an ounce of patience & tolerance when people start spewing ignorant remarks left and right. so hats off to you ladies. you keep making the world a better place.
on that note, i never truly felt at ease in this forum because of all the tone deaf comments i would see on the daily. it became tiring and exhausting being reminded that people with certain mentalities continue to exist in the world. and i know they exist, i encounter them in my daily life but stupidly enough i hoped that here it would be different. & maybe i'm in the wrong for just turning my back and refusing to educate them when i see them being blatantly ignorant and borderline racist (well...) but i don't owe anyone anything and it's certainly not my job and frankly i feel no sympathy for the oppressor. if at this point in life you haven't learnt to be a better person, do some introspection, acknowledge your damn privilege and stop talking over people of colour. with everything that's going on in the world, i often come online for a distraction and to see some beautiful dolls & their styling. but this forum has a real problem and the rules of not speaking of politics is imo absurd. we're not all on the same page, we don't all have the same privileges and i truly hate having to share a space with people that don't have my values. there's a difference between not knowing and genuinely wanting to learn, than to being condescending when people are explain you their experiences (that YOU have NEVER experienced and NEVER will) and then shrugging it off bc it means nothing to you. if your argument is that you don't live in the US it is imperial that you understand that racism and anti-blackness exist everywhere not just in the states. it certainly exists in your community and if you don't see it it's just because you're privileged enough to not be the one experiencing it. but i can guarantee you it's there. don't get defensive when people call you out on problematic behaviour, get humble, get educated and do better. and instead of @ me do something useful with your time and sign these petitions.

sorry for the long post, i just had a lot of thoughts and could not in good conscience keep them to myself. good luck to everyone on this SYS, i'll go back to just lurking during SYS and probably not posting as much because truly, i just wish we had a different space to bond over this game, cause the safe space that some of us need won't happen in here.
peace to all, and i'm sharing this picture i found on twitter earlier today. for anyone that says they don't see colour because we are all ''equal''...
