A Scrapbook Story Full Caption: "'Twas a week before the Promised Day. Kim and I were in the kitchen, carefully preparing the shopping list to have everything ready before the 4th. I was blearily rubbing my eyes, makeup nowhere to be seen, less human than groaning monster before my cup of morning tea. Kim was, of course, impeccable as ever. We had such a blast putting together the list, making mock versions of the pie we were determined to perfect by The Big Day!
"Later that day, I called Maria down to Beverly Hills to make event arrangements. I wanted to reserve a whole beach, and we spoke about it between takes for my... special photo shoot. (Stop judging me, Maria, you set this whole thing up in the first place! Publicity stunt, remember? ...What do you mean you were joking?!)" Full Caption: "As fate would have it, Simon called me up first thing the next morning (at 5 A.M., who on Earth is up at 5-freaking-A.M., Simon) to tell me that -- whoopsie! -- he'd accidentally booked a photo shoot for me on July 4th and please-don't-kill-me-Angela, which was somehow only the second worst thing he'd ever done to me, topped only by that time he'd invited strangers to live in my house -- and yes, Simon, it was That Bad -- and closely followed by that one time he put me in a commercial for printers. (Really, Simon? Printers?)" Full Caption: "The rest of the week actually went pretty smoothly. Kris managed to get me out of the photo shoot in return for an appearance at a Make A Wish Foundation fundraiser, and I was more than happy to attend; we got locally sourced ingredients to build our veritable feast of a picnic; and Maria managed to get the beach closed down, open just for us! The paparazzi would be distracted by an anonymous tip that Willow had been arrested on the other side of the state." Full Caption: "Bright and early on July 4th, I returned to my home after a long night doing a modeling show promoting a new line of So Chic exclusives in Beverly Hills, covering for a model who'd bailed last-minute... only to find that all the food was gone! My deadbeat boyfriend looked proud of himself. He happily told me that he'd cleaned up all the mess after the 'absolute rager' that had taken place in my home that night, and wasn't I so glad for it? I swear I ranted at him for ten minutes straight before having security remove him from the premises. (I thought we had a good thing going, Joe! I wasn't even going to break up with you until the end of the next dating event. This is why we can't have nice things.)" Full Caption: "Life couldn't get any worse -- or so I believed. A few minutes later, Willow called, telling me to meet her in person so she could 'see the look on your face when you hear this.' She'd somehow found out about my plans to take over Malibu beach, and smugly invited me to go take a look after making a snide remark about the bags under my eyes. I didn't have to. Maria had called me on the way there, and I was depressed enough as it was. I could see it in my mind's eye: A raging party, the beach entirely full of people, my no-good, philandering ex- among them." Full Caption: "I ran to Kim's home, unsure what to do. All our preparations had gone to waste. The beach was filled to capacity and probably trashed. The food was gone. I hadn't seen my friends in months with all our busy schedules, and had even begged out of a few get-togethers because of mine, and now I couldn't even plan a party for them. I felt like the world's worst friends, and an even lower human being. But Kim just smiled, told me to get changed, and to pull out that lemonade recipe we'd been considering. Your review really warms my heart 🥰 The group photo was probably unnecessarily difficult because I manually remove white spots -- I'll have to find a way around that -- but the whole storyline was so much fun to craft. I was cackling for half of it. My poor doll lol, I really put her through the wringer! And 1000 thank-yous for editing the whip onto my hand lmao, girl wouldn't be a proper dominatrix without it
